Claudia Lucia is a talented artist, surface pattern designer, and photographer living in Vero Beach, FL. She fell in love with art and colors as a kid. Back in 1998, during a trip to her home country, Colombia, she stumbled upon stained glass art. After taking a class, she was hooked! This passion led her to create stunning mosaics using stained glass, smalti, and mixed media. She also enjoys painting mandalas and landscapes with acrylics and watercolors, mixing it all up with her mosaic creations. Claudia makes vibrant, one-of-a-kind original art for her clients, ranging from wall art to unique pendants. Three of her wall mosaics were exhibited in 2021 and 2022 at "Art by the Sea" in the Vero Beach Museum of Art. She draws inspiration from the beauty of Gaia, the mysteries of the universe, and sacred geometry. Claudia even teaches classes now and then at the Vero Beach Art Club and at her own Studio/Gallery in Vero Beach. Plus, she’s picked up photography from her husband, and together they run a real estate photography business called "Perfect Images Virtual Media" in Vero Beach, Florida. Her love for Florida's breathtaking landscapes shines through in her art and photos. To check out more of Claudia’s work, you can find her on Facebook @GlassArtCollective, or stop by her Studio/Gallery for classes and workshops. What to Bring
Closed toed shoes are required for your safety and protection while working. These types of shoes provide better coverage and stability especially when handling tools and materials that may present a risk of injury.
You are welcome to bring a mask, if you would feel more comfortable. It’s always a good idea to have one on hand, particularly in environments where dust or small particles may be present. A mask can help ensure that you breathe easier and remain comfortable during your tasks.
Some people prefer to wear gloves when working with glass. As it can make some folks less sensitive to the glass, this is optional, depending on your personal comfort level. If you choose to wear gloves, make sure to find a pair that fits snugly and are rubberized, as this will help in preventing the glass from slipping out of your grasp and causing accidents.
All drinks should have a sealed top to avoid spills and contamination. . A bottle with a secure lid is highly recommended.
